Description
BVG Vardaan, herbal cattle feed supplement has developed for enhancing milk yield, fat/ S.N.F. in cows and buffaloes. It has observed that after calving there is raising trend of milk yield after 24 to 45 days soon after calving/parturition. This, rising trend of milk is getting plat to and followed by decrease in milk yield. At this stage, 30 gm feeding preferably in evening of vardaan has to start along with cattle feed concentrate. An inventor has observed during his research of one decade that there is rise in milk yield in cows after 4-6 days whereas in buffaloes there is rise in milk yield after 8-12 days from feeding of feed supplement. However, in summer season the rise trend in milk yield fat/S.N.F. delayed by 7-15 days in cows and buffaloes. After feeding vardaan, there is an improvement in digestion by observing quality of dung. The feeding of vardaan started after 25-45 days from calving and continued until drying i.e. end of 7th month of pregnancy. Since vardaan contains mainly medicinal herbs (powder/extract), mineral mixture, probiotic etc. there is no adverse effect (abortion) on pregnant animals. This rising trend of milk observed even 2/5 during pregnancy (up to 5 months). However, there is decrease in milk yield by 25 – 50% during 5-7 months pregnancy. Mostly, cows and buffaloes are ‘dried’ on 8th and 9th month of pregnancy. During this period, feeding of vardaan has to discontinued since animal is non-productive, in 8thand 9th months of feeding vardaan has to unnecessary bear by milk producer. In conclusion, Vardaan has to feed in milking animal (after 25-45 days from calving) and before drying animal (after 7 month).
